Outsmart the Ordinary.
I work with people who care deeply about what they’re building and want it to grow with clarity.
My role is to help create the conditions for that growth through thoughtful strategy, clear structure, and space for ideas to evolve without losing their integrity.
I believe progress doesn’t need to be loud to be effective. When ideas are given the right framework, growth feels natural, decisions feel easier, and momentum builds with confidence.
Guided by Intention
Each value shapes how I work and how I partner with clients. Together, they define what it feels like to build something well.
-
I approach every project with curiosity and openness, looking for ideas that move the work forward in ways that feel natural, not forced.
-
No two projects are the same. I adapt to what the work requires, staying responsive as goals shift and clarity sharpens.
-
I work with honesty and care, making decisions that respect the work, the people behind it, and the long term outcome.
-
I focus on work that matters. The goal is meaningful progress that creates lasting value, not surface-level wins.
-
The best work is built together. I partner closely with clients, creating space for shared thinking, trust, and momentum.
-
I move with intention. Thoughtful pacing, attention to detail, and clarity guide each step of the process.
Meet Emely Virta
Founder & Principal of FWD Thinking
I’ve always been drawn to how people connect to ideas, brands, and each other. That curiosity is what led me to build FWD Thinking Consulting, where I partner with businesses to shape growth that feels considered, personal, and built to last.
With a background in Public Relations and over a decade of experience across brand strategy, communications, and community growth, I bring a grounded yet imaginative approach to business development. My work lives at the intersection of creativity and structure, helping brands evolve with clarity and intention.
I’ve partnered with clients across wellness, hospitality, retail, real estate, and nonprofit development. Every engagement is rooted in collaboration, emotional intelligence, and close attention to detail, turning strong ideas into systems that genuinely work.
At FWD Thinking Consulting, strategy and human connection go hand in hand. The goal is always the same: to build something that not only succeeds, but feels right.
